Ankylosaurus Dinosaur Coloring Page
Ways to Use This Coloring Page
Simple ideas for using this printable at home, school, libraries, or quiet creative time.
A friendly armored dinosaur walks through a simple prehistoric scene with broad plants and plenty of open coloring space. Kids can notice the bumpy back, club tail, and short sturdy legs that make ankylosaurus easy to recognize.
Roll tiny balls of scrap paper or playdough to copy the armor bumps on the ankylosaurus back, then line them up from neck to tail. After coloring, stomp slowly around the room and swing one arm behind you like a heavy club tail.

- What parts of this dinosaur look like armor?
- How might the tail help protect it?
- Would this dinosaur be fast or slow, and what in the picture makes you think that?
